About Us

I grew up in Liverpool and have surrounded myself with animals since I was a little girl, regularly taking in other peoples’ unwanted pets. At one point I had 21 rabbits. I have instilled the love of animals in to my children and we currently have a dog, Oscar, a guinea pig called Rusty Lightening Bolt (Don’t ask) A hamster named Nibbles, a Horsefield tortoise called Timmy, two rescue chickens Hersey & Sandy and not forgetting our goldfish, Spot!

After working as a secondary school teacher for 15 years and recently taking voluntary redundancy, a decision was made to turn our love and knowledge of family pets in to ‘PawsNClawsFormby’ A vocation that can involve all of the family and one that allows me to be closer to home whilst doing a job that I love! Our dog walking and pet care service covers the following areas: Formby, Hightown, Crosby, Birkdale, Ainsdale and Southport. This list is by no means exclusive, so even if you live in a different area to any of these, please call and enquire further.

There is an additional cost of 50p per mile outside of a 5 mile radius but all collections and returns within a 5 mile radius are free.
